The sunny icon on the weather app is not as prominent as it was not even two weeks ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But I guess none of these things define what comes next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is not a choice per se, but it kind of is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We get to decide how we are going to deal with colder, greyer days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I’ve been waking up in different spots in bed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A few days ago, I was on the other side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It felt weird, unnatural.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But then I realised: I don’t have a side anymore. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Any side is my side now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I’ve been dreaming blank. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
At least I don’t wake up in the middle of the night anymore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Well—that’s a lie. Not as often, let me correct that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Things are back to a steady routine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And the days keep collapsing into one another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nights are calm and normally uneventful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I haven’t watched TV shows in a while.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I haven’t cooked elaborate meals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chicken is still my favourite protein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And I’ve lost some fat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I feel stronger than before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It’s just funny that I don’t have to fight anymore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It’s like the calm after the storm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
